Problems
User interviews were conducted with target audience to get in-depth feedback and know better the users’ needs, pain points, and preferences.
01
Communication hurdles
Once users shortlist properties they contact real estate agents or property owners and resulting in a bunch of unknown numbers in their phone. When they get a call back, they struggle to recall which specific property the caller is talking about.
02
Unfamiliarity with city
People who move to a different city often don’t know which area is better to live in. The lack of knowledge about the local amenities, lifestyle, and overall vibe of different areas makes it difficult to choose the right place for their new home.
03
Lack of trust
Users are aware of the fact that fraud often occurs with rental properties and they may be concerned about being scammed or misled. They may be hesitant to trust real estate agents or private landlords with their personal information.
Solutions

02
Neighborhood ratings
Every listing goes with the address mentioned and a district ratings. Right in the listing details users can see ratings for the availability of parks and grocery stores nearby, the level of infrastructures, crime level, reviews from locals and more.
03
Verification and reviews
Housed is fighting fraud and helps users build trust by verifying the identity of private owners and the legitimacy of real estate agencies. The app allows users to read reviews from other users, so they can get a sense of the agent's or owner's reputation.
